Antic Cafe

Something to brighten your Monday…

An Cafe is my happy place. When I want my spirits raised, when I want to dance around, when I want to smile and be happy… Antic Cafe always rises to the occasion. Even their least happy of songs still raises my spirits.

I’m fairly certain Miku is incapable of sounding unhappy when he sings. And that’s okay! (I also am a bit in love with his adorable way of pronouncing words. I don’t know if it’s something he does just for image or something he really does in day-to-day life, but it makes me smile either way!)

An Cafe is a type of Japanese rock branded as “oshare kei”. Oshare kei bands tend to wear less makeup than visual kei, they often have brighter and more positive messages, and their colorful fashion tends more toward the styles of Harajuku and decora.

Give An Cafe a listen today… I guarantee they will put a smile on your face!

I read this yesterday on my phone and immediately searched for them on iTunes and they aren’t listed. Grrr. Where can I get them? You have all the cool leads to the best music. Seriously.

I’m glad you love them! An Cafe, despite their popularity, seems to be rather hard to track down. Right now I just listen to them through YouTube, though I love them enough that their albums are on my official to-buy list when I can.
